Revenge 88
1978, Frank Dubbe writes the first Belgian punk rock hit single for his band StageBeast. Belgium (Ain't Fun No More) is released on EMI and becomes an instant classic, later to be found on the KBD compilations. After getting kicked out of EMI, StageBeast becomes Revenge 88 and releases the famous Neon Light single (another KBD classic). The rest is history. REVENGE 88 is working on a new album, and on the release of a lost album which will feature the old singles + demos + live from back in the days. REVENGE 88 recently opened for the New York Dolls. The band was also seen on TV and invited on radio shows.
